Prepare eggs in sweet and sour sauce
- First, hard boil the eggs, then quench and peel them. You may need to keep the eggs warm.

Make the mashed potatoes and design the dish
- First cook the potatoes soft in the shell. This works well if you choose potatoes of roughly the same size.
