What you need:

  • Plant roller
  • two foam blocks

  • two fabric covers

Build your own stool with castors - this is how the roll stand succeeds

  1. The roll stool is easily set up on a plant trolley. This should have castors made of beech wood, as these have a special stability. When choosing the wood, you can individually determine which type suits your interior.
  2. First place a foam block on the plant roller. This must be of the dimensions exactly wood of the scooter. Attach the foam block with spray adhesive that is sprayed onto both the roller and the block.
  3. In order to protect the upholstery of the roll stool, you should then attach upholstery fleece to the block. For the time being, place the fleece over the block and roughly cut off what protrudes on the sides. Also attach the nonwoven to the block with spray adhesive. After drying, residues on the sides can be touched up with scissors.
  4. You finish building the roll stool with a cover for the foam block. You can either sew this yourself or, in the appropriate dimensions, purchase it ready-made.
  5. To ensure that the cover sits securely on the cushion and does not slip, attach it to the underside of the plant trolley with a stapler.
  6. Build your own furniture from fruit boxes

Equip the stool with another cushion

To make the stool more comfortable, you can add another cushion yourself.

  1. First, pick up the second block of foam. You cover this with cotton wool, just like with the upholstery fleece.
  2. Before you also cover the second cushion with a colored fabric cover, you should cover the foam block with a nettle cover.
  3. You attach the nettle cover to the foam with a simple seam or several safety pins.
  4. Now cover the attachable cushion and place it on the roll stool. Now you have finished building the fashionable roll stool yourself.
