iPhoto is in the Mac OS operating system integrated and available to anyone who works with an iMac or MacBook. IPhoto is ideal for basic tasks. How to select photos to shrink

2. Open the menu item File-Export and define a size. You can choose between small, medium and large, or you can define your own size in pixels.

• When you want to reduce the size of photos in iPhoto, the Medium setting is almost always the right choice. For presentation on the web or on a small digital picture frame, you can also select the "small" setting.

• When entering pixels, you can only choose the horizontal value in iPhoto. The vertical value is automatically adjusted by the program depending on the format of the image. When entering, you must ensure that you enter a smaller value, otherwise the image will be upscaled and the image quality will deteriorate.

Make sure you keep the original of the photo. You may want to use it again in full resolution at a later date.
