  6. In the next step, the ceiling area is added to the wall area and then the area of ​​the windows and doors is subtracted from it. In this example 35m² + 12m² - 1.9m² = 45.1m². This means that when painting there must be an amount of paint that can cover 45.1m² when painting.
  7. Remember that depending on which color you want to buy, it has a different opacity. Normally there should be an indication on the packaging for how many square meters this is sufficient, e.g. B. 10l are enough for 50m².
  8. Liquid colors cover less, while creamy, more solid colors are also sufficient for a larger coat.
