- Install Java.

Help if the server does not start
If you are facing the problem of your Minecraft server not starting, there are a few possible solutions you need to try:
- Make sure that you leave the field for the IP address blank.
- You should of course also select a valid port for the server. This port must also be enabled in your firewall and router, otherwise it cannot be controlled. You can find out how the release works on your firewall and router from the respective operating instructions. Since port sharing works very differently, no general instructions can be given.
- If you get the error message that the selected port is busy, start your computer once new. In most cases this will fix the problem.
