What you need:

  • For 8 people
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 160 g of flour
  • 160 g of sugar
  • 180 g dark couverture or chocolate
  • 200 g butter
  • 8 molds for souffle
  • Amaretto (as you like)
  • Butter for molds
  • Flour or breadcrumbs for molds

Simply bake a chocolate soufflé

  1. Take a mixing bowl and add that Eggs, egg yolks and sugar together in the bowl.

  2. Beat everything until it is nice and frothy. You can do this with a whisk or a hand mixer.

  3. Next you can use the chocolate or melt the couverture. To do this, take a saucepan and give something water into it. Cut the chocolate or couverture into small pieces and place them in a small bowl. Put the bowl in the pot with the boiling water.

  4. Important! The water must not get into the small bowl!

  5. Let the chocolate or couverture melt.

  7. Before that happens, you can cut the butter into small pieces.

  8. Once the chocolate has melted, you can now add the butter pieces to the melted chocolate.

  9. Let the butter melt as well and slowly pull it into the chocolate.

  10. If you would like to have amaretto in your chocolate soufflé, you can add it now. One to three tablespoons, if desired.

  11. Once everything has melted together well, the liquid chocolate mixture is lifted under the egg and sugar mixture.

  12. Undergo the chocolate carefully so that everything is well mixed together.

  13. Next, the flour is sifted so that there are no unwanted lumps.

  14. The sifted flour is now lifted into the mass. Here, too, work carefully and prefer to work a little slower than too fast.

  15. You can now grease the molds for the chocolate soufflé and dust them with flour or breadcrumbs.

  16. Each mold not quite halfway with the dough to fill.

  17. The chocolate soufflé can now be put in the oven at 180 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

Your chocolate soufflé is best served warm. Then it tastes even better.
