  • If you have washable wallpaper, you can wipe away the grease stain easily and quickly. The best way to do this is to use a damp cloth and some washing-up water.
  • If the wallpaper is not waterproof, you can paint over the grease stain with standard school chalk after it has dried. This trick does not remove the grease stain, but at least makes it visually disappear.

The following variant of removing grease stains from the wallpaper is suitable for white as well as printed and colored wallpapers.

  1. Let the stain dry first.
  2. Take a small plastic bowl and fill it with approx. 100 ml of water.
  3. Now stir into the water approx. 20-50 grams of cornstarch. A thick pulp should form when stirring.
  4. Now take a small brush and use it to apply the paste to the grease stains.
  5. Let the paste dry up. It is best to apply the mixture in the evening and leave it on overnight.
  6. The following day, take a small brush and brush away the remains of the water-cornstarch paste.
