Fill out Appendix FW correctly in the tax return

The FW annex in the context of a tax return is required if you are applying for tax breaks for a home you use yourself or an apartment you have provided free of charge in Germany. This applies to all those who could still make use of the Home Ownership Allowance Act.

Fill in the appendix FW perfectly

If you now belong to the group of people who have to fill out the FW attachment, you will either receive the form automatically from Tax office or you can download the form from the Internet. Please note the following when filling out the form:

• The first thing you need to do is provide the details of the apartment for which you want to apply for tax breaks. You must also state the living situation, the start and end of construction or, alternatively, the date of purchase.

• You must also state the total area and how it will be used in detail.
