How to harvest the lettuce leaves correctly

• If the weather is warm and nice, the first harvest can already be brought in after 3 weeks. Other weather conditions allow the rocket to ripen in up to 6 weeks.
• In any case, make sure that the rocket leaves are no longer than 10 cm. Otherwise these leaves will taste unpleasantly pungent.
• If you want 2 to 3 harvests, cut off the rocket with scissors just below the last tuft of leaves. So the petioles should still remain.
• If you only want to harvest arugula once, cut it very low down or tear it right out with the roots.
