  • Of course, you also need matching mirror glass. It is best to go to a specialty store where you can have mirrors cut to the size you want.
  • A good makeup mirror gives you at least one extra magnification. If you build the mirror yourself, you can glue an additional magnifying mirror onto the large mirror. You can get simple, round magnifying mirrors in every hardware store in the bathroom department. Please do not confuse it with a hand mirror with a frame. The simple mirror panes have no frame and can be easily attached to the large mirror using the hot glue.

  1. Should the frame be given a different color? If so, paint it in carefully and let it dry well.
  2. In the meantime, you can attach the magnifying mirror to the large mirror glass, stick it where it will least disturb you when you want to examine your overall picture. It is therefore best to place it towards the edge of the mirror glass. However, do not glue it too close to the edge so that the frame can be attached later without any problems.
  3. If the frame is completely dry, lay it upside down on the floor and nail two sturdy picture hooks to the back of the wooden frame. Then put the mirror glass inside.
  4.
