Prepare the cabinet for painting

If you want to paint a closet white, you have to prepare the furniture and the workplace well.

  • Choose a room that can be well ventilated after painting.
  • Dismantle accessories such as handles, decorations and wheels.
  • If dismantling is not possible, cover parts well.
  • Doors and remove the drawers if necessary and paint them separately.
  • Cover the floor at the workplace with old newspapers or cover film.
  • Have work materials ready and allow enough time.

Paint furniture white

To paint a closet white streak-free, you first need the right shade. You can choose this from a large assortment of white colors in the hardware store.
