Finally holidays! You want to travel with Ryanair and you may have packed your suitcase days in advance. But what if you find that you still need one more piece of luggage after booking on schedule? Don't worry, Ryanair has options for that too.

- Of course, it can happen that you only find out after booking that you still need an extra piece of luggage. As a rule, however, it is always best to know how much you want to take with you before booking.
- It simply saves you time and effort. But as already mentioned, it's not a big problem in retrospect either. However, it should be noted that at Ryanair, in addition to hand luggage per person, no more than two suitcases are allowed.
- To name a few facts about the weight and size of the luggage (as of 2012): The hand luggage must not be larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm and not heavier than 10 kg. A suitcase should not be larger than 81 x 119 x 119 cm and not weigh more than 20 kg. The second suitcase must not weigh more than 15 kg, as the total limit for a single person per flight is 35 kg.
- If the piece of luggage is heavier or larger, you have to reckon with quite high fees (as of 2012), namely up to 20 euros for 1 kilo. It is therefore essential that you weigh your luggage at home.
- The prices for the suitcases are 15 euros each in the low season and up to 45 euros in the high season. However, the fee is charged per person and piece of luggage. It is interesting to know that in the high season, i.e. July and August, Ryanair charges 5 euros more per piece of luggage than in the low season.

How to book the additional suitcase with Ryanair
- It is definitely cheaper for you if you book your extra bag online. You can do this up to 4 hours before your departure. To do this, go to the official website of Ryanair and go to "Manage booking". There you have the opportunity to change your booking by entering your reservation number.
- You should use the internet booking not only for additional pieces of luggage, but also in general. In contrast to booking directly at the head office, you can save up to 80 euros in this way.
- The cheapest way to travel is when you can move your vacation to the off-season and maybe even have the option of getting by with just one piece of luggage and hand luggage. But in the end it is important that you have a great vacation and that you have everything you need with you there.
