Build a fireplace yourself with aerated concrete

How to build an aerated concrete fireplace yourself
First of all, the aerated concrete underside is placed on the floor and the external crack is drawn.
For the overhang of the base, a line is drawn offset inwards. The aerated concrete base is bricked up along this line.
Now assemble the interior of the fireplace as described by the manufacturer. Then you can continue with the cladding and brickwork.
Open chimneys should be built across corners, which is why there are many bevel cuts in the next work steps. Thanks to the good properties of the processing of the aerated concrete, this is not a problem at all. Aerated concrete can be easily cut into any shape.
