Replace the shower seal
If the seals in your shower are broken or yellowed, you should replace them. You can use silicone to create new seals and thus prevent water from leaking out of the shower.

- vinegar

- Silicone gun

How to replace seals
- Use a knife to carefully loosen the old silicone seal.
- Most of the time, once you get started, you can peel the sealant off all at once. If that doesn't work, you'll have to help out with the knife.
- When you have removed the entire seal, clean the areas with vinegar. Any residues that have got stuck can be removed with a ceramic hob scraper.
- Use a lint-free cloth to wipe dry the areas that you want to rework.
- Insert the silicone cartridge into the silicone gun and cut off the tip.
- With a steady hand, guide the tip along the edge while pressing the lever.
- With a special spatula or a wooden handle from an ice cream, scrape off the excess silicone.
- After replacing the seal, you should not use the shower for at least 24 hours so that the water does not damage the seal.
