  2. Print out your number in the size you want and place it on a foam board.
  3. Use a cutter to cut out the number in the foam.
  4. Put the number upside down in your mold. If your form is made of metal, coat everything with oil. If the material is made of wood or cardboard, coat it with molded rubber so that it cannot soak up the concrete.
  5. Pour paving stones yourself - this is how it works

Paving stones are available in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. …

  6. Carefully pour the concrete mix into the mold. Be careful not to shift the number.
  7. Let the concrete dry for at least a day and then carefully remove it from the mold.
  8. You can use sandpaper to smooth the surface of the house number a little.

So pour the number as a number

  1. Print out your number in the size you want and place it under a sheet of plexiglass.
  2. Cut strips from beverage cartons. These should be as thick as you want the concrete number to be later on.
  3. Glue the strips together to form a long line. Make sure that there are no gaps and that you do not kink the box. These kinks would later show up as bumps.
  4. Fasten the strips upright to the plexiglass pane with adhesive tape.
  5. You can stabilize the number by pulling more tape over the number.
  6. Coat the inside of the number with molded rubber and then carefully pour the concrete into it.
  7. When the house number dries after a day, you can remove it from the mold and sand it with sandpaper.
