Sky card must be activated
As a new Sky customer you get everything you need from the pay TV provider so that you can enjoy the extensive television.
- The scope of delivery includes a receiver, which is technically up to date. In addition, you will of course receive your Sky card, without which you would not be able to receive the program in the future.
- The youth protection pin is also included in the scope of delivery. You will have to enter this in future if a program or film has an FSK rating of 16 years or higher.
Unlocking is child's play
Before you can watch films, documentaries, series or sporting events, however, you must have your card activated by Sky.
- Insert your Sky card in the direction indicated in the card slot of your new digital receiver.
- Now switch the receiver to one of the many Sky channels you have subscribed to. It doesn't matter whether you choose a sports channel or a cinema channel. For example, you can set the device to "Sky Cinema", "Sky Sport 1", "TNT Serie" or another station.
- Then the activation should work automatically. After an hour at the latest, the program should flicker-free on the screen to run.
- If you have problems with the activation, then visit the Sky website and log in with your customer number and your Sky-Pin. Follow the steps mentioned on the website.
