Glitter paint - tips for using

  • The small glossy particles create a surface that feels a bit rough. If you do not like this effect, you can coat the finished sprayed surface with clear varnish after it has dried through overnight. You should do this anyway if the item is intended for outdoor use.
  • If you want to achieve a greater depth effect, apply several layers of clear varnish over the dried glitter paint. However, always allow each layer to dry thoroughly and roughen it before the next application of paint. Only the last layer of clear lacquer is no longer roughened.
