The meaning of the social network Facebook is that users can connect with their friends, family members, acquaintances and colleagues at any time. This is almost always done via the chat function.

- So far so good. Now there is a new design and the FacebookChat does not show all friends. It's not just confusing for you. But little tricks can help you to ensure that the Facebook chat shows all friends who are online again in the future.
Old design shows all friends again
- When you go to your Facebook page, the friends will be displayed in the new design on the far right in a bar. The friends marked with a green dot are currently online. These are supposed to be the friends you communicate with most often through Facebook chat.
- Experience has shown that this is a randomly selected number of people and not friends with whom we chat most often.
- And something else is different: the bar no longer shows all friends in Facebook chat.
- Clicking on the field "more friends online" will help you here. After activating this field, the remaining friends who are currently online will be displayed. You decide whether or not they are all friends with whom you rarely chat.
- However, to chat with friends who are not on the list, there is a simple trick: just type in the Search field, which is marked by a magnifying glass, enter the name of the desired chat partner and add him to the list added.
