Underline words on Facebook
When using the social network Facebook, words can be underlined both when writing notes and in chat. The respective procedure for both functions is very simple.
So you can underline parts of text on Facebook
Underlining words is particularly useful when you want to draw the reader's attention to certain passages of the text or to specific words. Be it to visually highlight the importance of these parts of the text or simply as a literary means: Underlining your written text is very easy. This function is by your side Facebook when writing notes and in Chat equally available. The procedure alone is slightly different in each case.
- In the Facebook chat you can use the corresponding contact window in which you are with your friend Communicate, underline words and phrases by placing them immediately before and immediately after the text part respectively. Word an underscore, i.e. the special character "_" (without quotation marks). There must therefore be no blank space to the left or right of the word to be underlined. When you send your chat message now, the text should be formatted according to your input.
- When writing notes, Facebook offers you the option of underlining text passages or individual words by pressing a corresponding button. To do this, first call up the notes function of the social network. This can be found on your profile page in fifth position under your photo. If you now click on the "Write a note" link, you can write one. If you now want to underline a word or part of your text, you should do so in front of the corresponding Click on the button with the underlined U in the frame above the text field is located.
