"I cannot add friends on Facebook"

To over Facebook Keeping in touch with friends and acquaintances must be your own profile to be added. A friend request is sent for this purpose, which must be confirmed by the recipient. Only then will the person in question be added as your friend.

Add friends on Facebook

1. Around friends To add to Facebook, find the person using the Find Friends menu. There you have several options to narrow your search.
2. After you have found the person, click on them and then select "Add friend". The friend request will now be sent.
3. After the person has accepted your friend request, they will be visible in your friends list. You can now chat with this person or send messages or Send invitations to them.

When you can't add friends anymore

If an error message appears with friend requests or the request in question is not sent, this can have different causes.

• Note that you can only send a limited number of friend requests per day.
• Occasionally, Facebook will ask you whether you also know the person you want to add to your friends. Answering this with "No" causes Facebook to block your profile from further friend requests so that you can no longer add any more friends. To fix this quickly, set up a new account on Facebook and only make five friend requests a day. If the question arises whether you know the person in question, answer this with "Yes".
• If you cannot send individual friend requests, this may also be due to the Facebook server. Just try again later.
• If you are blocked for friend requests or if Facebook does not allow any further friend requests, you have reached your limit for the day. Wait 24 hours, after which you can add friends to your profile again.
