- Pick up the official apology booklet. The apology must be entered in this booklet, otherwise it may not be recognized.
- Choose a generally polite form of address, as the apology is usually addressed to several teachers. If possible, this should read "Dear Sir or Madam". However, if you only have to write the apology for one teacher, you can of course politely write to them directly.
- Informally ask to excuse the absence for the corresponding period of time. A reason for the absence is not necessary, the reason does not matter, only the apology counts.
