Connect ICQ to Facebook: undo

Use the messenger from ICQ and have it with you Facebook connected to chat with all of your friends, you don't have to stay connected all the time. You can also undo the connection of the networks.

Disconnect ICQ from Facebook

1. Open your ICQ messenger on your computer and enter your access data to be connected to the messenger.
2. If the chat bar is visible on your computer, go to "Settings" in the ICQ menu at the top.
3. You will now see the "Customize" menu on the left. There you will find the menu item "My Networks", which you have to open now.
4. Look for "Facebook" under "Networks" and click on "Settings".

5. Then press "Disconnect Facebook from your ICQ".
6. In the next step, confirm that you have your Facebookfriends from ICQ by clicking on "YES". ICQ and Facebook are no longer connected.

Undo the connection in the network

1. Alternatively, you can also undo the connection of the two networks in Facebook. To do this, go to the website and log in by entering your access data at the top right.
2. Then click on the small arrow at the top right and go to the privacy-Settings from Facebook.
3. Open "Applications and Web Pages" by clicking "Edit Settings".
4. Click Remove Unwanted or Harassing Applications.
5. Next to the ICQ feeds you will find a small X that you now have to click with the mouse.
6. Press the "Remove" button and then "OK". You have now undone the connection between ICQ and Facebook.
