How to assemble a cast mineral washbasin

  1. After you have determined the exact position for your mineral cast washbasin, drill the holes to attach the wall rail. You will need a drill with an 8 mm masonry drill bit to do this. Depending on the rail, you have several horizontal options for positioning the drill holes.
  2. Measure the distances beforehand and transfer them to the wall. The drill holes should have a depth of about 60 mm and fully accommodate the dowel.
  3. When you've drilled the holes, tap the dowel in, making sure it's flush with the wall. Now put the rail on the wall and fix it with screws.
  4. Next, drill the holes for the wall hooks to hang the vanity unit or Washbasin cabinet. To do this, you will need the 8 mm masonry drill again. Drill approx. 60 mm deep, knock in the dowels again and screw in the screw hooks up to about half a centimeter.
  5. The best way to hang the substructure in the hooks is to lower it onto the hooks at a slight angle from above.
  6. You can now fine-tune the vanity unit vertically and horizontally until it is exactly positioned.
  7. Finally, put vinegar-free silicone on the adhesive edges of the substructure and then immediately hang the mineral cast washbasin in the pre-assembled rail. It is best to remove excess silicone with paper towels.
  8. Depending on the washbasin model, the connections between the substructure and the washbasin are plugged or have to be screwed from the inside to the connecting brackets provided.
