Add a new email to Facebook

Before your old one e-mailAddress at Facebook you need to add a new email address first.

  7. Now fill in the "Password" field a little further down with your Facebook password and then use the "Save changes" button.

This will save the new e-mail address for the time being and you will receive an e-mail with which you have to confirm that the e-mail is your own e-mail address. You will also be notified of your old e-mail address that you would like to have a new e-mail address added to your account.

Delete old email address

As soon as you have added a new e-mail, you still have to activate it and then delete your old e-mail address.

  1. To do this, call up your e-mails from the e-mail address you added to Facebook and click on the link that you will find in the e-mail sent by Facebook.
  2. You will then be automatically redirected to your Facebook account settings and the new email is now active. Now click again on "Edit" for the "E-Mail" option.
  3. If your old email address is still entered as the primary address, select your new address, enter your Facebook password and click on "Save changes". You then have to click on "Edit" again.
  4. Now click on the "Remove" link to the right of your old email address.
