To prepare for the actual sew of the stuffed animal download the pattern for the body the cat and the sewing pattern for Ears and tail download and print out the PDF templates with a size of 100%. Then cut out the pattern.

How to sew the tail and ears of the stuffed animal

1. For the tail of the cat, place two matching pieces of plush right sides together and pin the pattern for the tail with pins.
2. Sew the tail on the dotted line with the sewing machine.
3. Next, remove the pins, cut out the tail, and remove the paper.
4. Finally, flip the tail so that the seam is on the inside.

5. Put a piece of cotton fabric and a piece of plush fabric right sides together for each ear and pin the pattern on with the pins.
6. On the dotted line, sew the ears on the sewing machine, remove the pins and cut out the ears. Again, remove the paper and turn your ears.

Customize the cat's body

1. For the stuffed animal, pin the pattern for the body onto the back of the plush fabric.

2. Tuck the ears behind the plush fabric as shown on the pattern.
3. Place a second piece of plush right sides together on top of the first and pin all the layers together.
4. Sew on the dotted line with the sewing machine. Start with the marking on the arm and end at the other marking on the arm, leaving a small piece open.
5. Remove the pins, cut the body, remove the paper and turn the body over.

Completion of the cuddly kitten

1. Fill the body and tail with polyfill and sew up the open area on the arm by hand.
2. Hand sew the tail to the back of the body.
3. Attach the button eyes or, if the cat is intended for young children, embroider the eyes.
4. You can embroider an X on the mouth and nose.
5. Tie a ribbon around the kitten as a bow. Your stuffed animal is ready!
