Set the German language in the Google Chrome browser
It is easy to get lost in the options of some programs. The settings of the Google Chrome is arranged quite intuitively and is easy to find. However, the options for changing the language are easy to overlook. How to find them:
- First start Google Chrome and select the icon with the three lines in the top right corner.
- In the submenu that now opens, click on “Settings”.
- Then select the blue lettering "Show advanced settings ..." at the very bottom.
- Now look for the heading "Languages" and click on the button "Language and input settings ...".
- Under Languages you can now set the language “German” and then click the button “Display Google Chrome in this language”. If the language “German” is not displayed, first click on the “Add” button below, then look for “German” and click “Ok”.
- Now close your browser and restart it. Google Chrome should now be set to German.
