VIDEO: Build Windows in Minecraft

who in Minecraft has already built one or the other building knows that houses without windows have an uncomfortable bunker atmosphere. So if you simply want to beautify your building, holes are torn in the walls that are ultimately intended to represent windows. It is true that these holes also fulfill the actual purpose of windows, namely to allow daylight into the house However, such interrupted walls are very unaesthetic and also offer no protection from Monsters. So if you want to build a safe and beautiful home in Minecraft, it pays to build windows properly using glass blocks.

How to build a window in Minecraft

  1. First of all, one should take care of the procurement of glass as a raw material. This is easier than it sounds at first. The basic material of glass in Minecraft is sand. This can be found in abundance on beaches or in desert regions and can be removed very easily with a shovel. But the raw material can also be extracted easily by hand. A block of sand will later become a block of glass.
  2. The extracted sand can now be melted into glass in a furnace. To do this, build a furnace and press the right mouse button to activate it. The raw materials to be melted are drawn into the upper left field of the window that appears, and the fuel to be used in the field below. Since many blocks of sand will likely have to be melted down, it is advisable to use coal or charcoal as fuel for the stove. The flame between the two fields on the left indicates how long a unit of fuel can still be used.
  3. As soon as the melting process has ended, you can take the glass blocks created from the top right field. The arrow between the left and right fields indicates how long it will take until a glass block is ready.
  4. You can now place the glass blocks anywhere in the world by dragging them into the quick access bar in the inventory.
  5. Build in Minecraft - this is how a house succeeds

In Minecraft, at the beginning you need to find shelter as quickly as possible ...

You now have glass that you can use to build windows. Note that glass blocks once placed in the game world will not be picked up again as is the case with wood, for example - the block is forever after being destroyed lost. That is why it is better to melt more and more glass blocks than are actually needed for larger construction projects.
