• If you have a sewing machine, fold the edges of the triangular shawl inwards twice so that the edges of the fabric are no longer visible.
• If the fabric is strong, you can iron the edges when you fold them. For soft fabrics, you should fix them with needles and then iron them before you sew them with a lock stitch on the sewing machine.
• You can make a real rolled hem without a sewing machine, as is the case with many scarves, especially fine silk scarves.
