"Simpsonize me" does not work
“Simpsonize me” became famous a few years ago. In the generator you can have yourself represented as an avatar from the TV series "The Simpsons". At least that was the case once, but unfortunately the website has not been active for some time. Here's what to do when the generator isn't working.
The Simpsons are a well-known American cartoon series that also has many fans in Germany. For this reason the website SimpsonizeMe.com was launched. There you could upload a photo of yourself in the generator and then an avatar of the Simpsons was created from it. Unfortunately the site has not worked for a long time.
When the generator doesn't work
On this website of "Simpsonize me", you have been getting the information for some time that the provider would not be able to make the generator available due to its great popularity place. So there is an overload, which means that the service does not work.
- Of course, you can only wait here to see whether the operators provide their service again, and so you can call up the homepage from time to time to see whether the generator is working again.
- Facebook-Users can also find the operator under "Simpsonize me" and write to them there. Perhaps you will get an answer there as to whether and when the generator will be available again.
- But if you don't want to wait that long, you can use a similar generator that can transform yourself into a Simpson character. Fortunately, “Simpsonize me” is not the only provider for this purpose.

- In order to be able to create your avatar, you must first go to the start page via "Enter Side". Once there, you can click on the first button above (Create your Simpsons Avatar). Via "Create Avatar" you will be redirected to the generator.
- Via “New Character” you can then choose whether you are male or female. You can then choose which figure your avatar should have and adjust the head (skin color, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, etc.) and adjust your clothes a little.
- To save your avatar on your hard drive, click on the small arrow symbol (pointing downwards) and choose whether you want to save the image as JPG, AIM or ICON. After the avatar has been created, a window opens in which you can “save the file”.
If “Simpsonize me” still does not work, you still do not have to do without your Simpson avatar. The Simpsons Movie generator doesn't work the same way, but it's a good alternative.
