Create a group on Facebook

at Facebook you have the possibility to create groups and friends to invite into the group.

1. If you would like to set up a group on Facebook, you must first be logged in to Facebook.
2. As soon as you are logged in, you are on the homepage of Facebook. Now click on the "Create a group" button. The button is almost at the bottom of the menu bar.
3. After you have clicked the button, a new window will open in which you have to enter some information in order to found your group. First enter any group name in the "Group name" input field.
4. Next, you can enter the names of friends you would like to invite to the group in the “Members” input field.

5. Now click on the "Create" button to finally establish the group.

Change group name on Facebook

If you have set up a group on Facebook, you can also change the group name afterwards.

1. To change the group name, you must first click on the group name on the home page.

2. If you are now on the group page, please click on the button on which a gear is depicted and then on "Edit group".
3. You now have the option of assigning a new group name in the "Group name" input field.
4. You can also add a profile picture and group description to your group.
5. So that the new group name is now saved, click on "Save".

The new group name will then be visible to all group members from now on.
