Activate JavaScript in the web browser

On the other hand, the error can arise because you have installed an extension for your web browser with which you can either hide the sidebar specifically or among other things. To display the news ticker again, you have to proceed differently after the extension has been installed.

  • If you use the "FB Purity" extension, this is only possible under Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera is possible, you have to go to Facebook and then click on the link "FB Purity" in the upper area of ​​Facebook click. Then a small window opens in which you have to remove the tick in front of "Ticker" and then click on "Refresh".
  • If you have activated the "Hide Facebook Sidebar Ticker" extension under Google Chrome, you have to remove it completely. Click on the wrench that you will find in the top right corner and select "Extensions" under "Tools". You can also use the link "chrome: // chrome / extensions" in your address line. Finally, click the trash can icon to the right of the add-on to uninstall the extension.
