Forgot the activation code for the TomTom
You need the activation code for the TomTom for map updates or various subscriptions, such as the speed camera subscription. If you have forgotten the activation code, this is not a major problem.

Request activation code again
In order to request the activation code for your Tomtom again, you will need the product code and the device code that you received when you purchased the product.
- The product code is either on the CD sleeve or in the packaging of the TomTom. You can get the device code by switching on your TomTom, going to the main menu and selecting "Show all menu options". Click the right arrow until "Show version" and you will see the device code.
- Make a note of both dates and open the page from TomTomto get the activation code. Enter the product code on the page, then click Next. Then enter the device code and click "Next" again.
- In the third step, you will be shown the activation code for your TomTom. The activation code can be requested again at any time.

- You only need the activation code if you want to activate map material on your TomTom that has not yet been activated or has just been installed. After you have accessed the relevant card, enter the activation code.
- Spaces displayed in the activation code are not entered. TomTom does not have the ability to enter spaces. These are only used to provide a better overview.
