Fly screens can easily keep unpleasant insects away from the interior in summer. The ALDI fly screen is one of the easiest to attach to the window frame. Since you can cut it individually, the grille is suitable for almost all sizes of windows.

If To fly, Mosquitoes, Wasps or beetles - the ALDI fly screen is very fine-meshed, so you can be sure that no unpleasant insect can find its way through. If you want to attach the fly screen, all you need is a pair of scissors and a tape measure to cut it into the shape you want.

Measure the ALDI grid correctly

  1. Remove the grid and the adhesive strips from the packaging. Have the scissors and tape measure ready.

  2. Now measure on the open window the inside of the frame in length and width. The ALDI fly screen will later be attached there so that the window can be closed easily without tearing the net.

  3. Now take the measurements you have just gained and measure the adhesive strips in the same length and width. Use the scissors to cut them to the correct length.

  4. You should now have four strips of tape that are twice the length and twice the width of the window frame.
  5. Attach the fly screen to the tilting window - this is how it works

  6. Now you can attach the adhesive strips to the inside of the frame at the top, bottom, right and left so that it is provided with adhesive strips all around.

Attaching the fly screen

  1. Now measure the ALDI fly screen with the same dimensions as the adhesive strips. However, add approx. 1 cm in addition. This is important so that the grid can later be partially glued to the adhesive strips and not lose too much of its length.
  2. Now press the grid firmly onto the adhesive strips on each side of the frame. This creates overlaps at the corners. You can easily cut them off or just leave them on.
  3. As a rule, the fly screen can withstand stronger winds. If you no longer need it in winter, you can simply take it off and put it back on again the next year.
