How to apply for your vision aid with the health insurance company

  • To do this, you need a prescription from the ophthalmologist with the relevant diagnosis and a cost estimate from the optician. Submit both together to the health insurance company and hope that you will receive a higher grant.
  • Otherwise, submit the prescription to the health insurance company with the invoice for the glasses and wait for the subsidy.
