  • Especially with shortcrust biscuits or shortbread cookies there is a simple but very effective trick on how to make the biscuits can keep them juicy, even if they are already a few days old: Simply put an apple wedge (with Peel). The apple gradually releases very little moisture. However, this will keep the cookies fresh for a long time.
  • If you are stacking several layers on top of each other and the biscuits are glazed, it is advisable to place cling film between each layer of biscuits as a separating layer. This will prevent the cookies from sticking together.
