Temperatures between 70 and 100 ° C are particularly critical and must be maintained for longer. You probably don't have a thermometer to monitor the temperature either.
- An oven cannot generate the required heat of 900 and 1400 ° C, which is the right temperature for baking clay.
What do you do best with your finished workpiece?
- So it is advisable not to try to torment your workpiece in the oven, but to go straight to a pottery.
- Often you can also hand in your clay work at the craft shop where you bought the clay. If your clay work is too thick-walled or has weak points before firing, you will certainly get professional advice there.
