Many airlines comply with the wishes of their customers not to pay for a flight with a credit card. Above all, they offer them direct debit as an alternative. In order to use this service, however, you have to meet a few requirements.
Book flights with Air Berlin
air Berlin offers you the usual payment by credit card (Air Plus card, American Express, MasterCard and Visa (but not Visa Electron) and alternatives. You have the option of booking a flight without a credit card by direct debit. However, this is only possible if you have a German, Austrian or Dutch bank account.
You also have to live with a small time constraint. You should book your flight at least seven days in advance. Paying by credit card is of course faster, but also less secure.
With Air Berlin, you can alternatively pay the entire flight price in cash at the airline's sales counter. However, this is only possible on the day of the booking. In this case, you should be at the airport earlier so that payment can be made on time.
Pay without a credit card at Germanwings

Book your flights online with Expedia and then pay by bank transfer. At Reisecheck24 you have the option of settling your tickets via PayPal or direct debit. When comparing low-cost airlines, you can pay for your flight bookings without a credit card and via online banking (Sofortüberweisung and Giropay).
