Delete the usernames in Firefox
If you wish, Firefox can save usernames and passwords so that you don't always have to fill out logins by hand. However, if you want to delete this data, you can do this in the Firefox settings.

- If you have activated this option in the Firefox settings, Firefox has the option of creating user names and passwords for websites that you have to log in to (e.g. B. Forums and online shops). The logins are then saved with a request after they have been entered for the first time and no longer have to be filled in by hand as soon as the corresponding page is opened.
- All user names and passwords are stored centrally in a Firefox database. If you want to delete some or all of the logins stored there for personal reasons, Firefox offers you the necessary options directly.
Delete the data from the browser
- Start Firefox and then switch to the Firefox settings using the orange Firefox button.
- In the settings, first switch to the "Security" tab. There you can generally activate or deactivate the saving of user names and passwords. Under the "Saved Passwords" button you will find a list of all previously saved logins.
- Here you can search specifically for login information from certain pages and have them displayed. You can also use the "Remove" button to delete the currently selected entry. After that, the login area will no longer be automatically filled in on the relevant website.
- You can also use the "Remove all" button to delete the entire list in one fell swoop and thus delete all login data saved by Firefox. If you then generally switch off the saving of passwords, Firefox will no longer save any personal data.
