Tie a bow with two loops

1. First of all, you should be approx. Get 2m of ribbon to tie two-loop bows for your gift. It is nice if you vary them in color and width, for example 1m thin red ribbon and 1m slightly thicker green ribbon. Choose the colors of the bows to match your wrapping paper.
2. Then first take the first meter of tape in your hand and lay both ends one on top of the other, so that a loop is created, at the lower end of which the two ends of the tape cross over hang down. Leave the ends of the tape approx. Hang out 25-30 cm under the loop.
3. Grasp the loop in the lower middle with one hand so that you fix the two ends of the tape at their intersection.
4. Now take the middle of the loop with the other hand and bring it together with the cross point so that two loops are created. Fix this with binding wire.
5. Check the shape of both loops and, if necessary, pluck them again into the desired shape.

6. Now tie the second meter of ribbon for your present in the same way. If you want, you can also make the length of the strap ends a little longer or shorter.
7. At the end, lay the two loops you created on top of each other and also fix them with binding wire.
8. Last but not least, you can now attach a string of pearls or a cord, for example, and let the ends hang down together with the ends of the ribbon. Alternatively, you can attach beads or feathers to the ends of the ribbon.
9. You can of course also choose the simpler variant and omit the second loop and instead make a single nice wide loop.
10. The size and shape of the bows should of course be adapted to the size of the gift.

Four loop gift

1. For a bow with four loops, you should make the length of the tape a little more generous, approx. Choose 1.5m.
2. Now start tying as you did with the bow with two loops and first cross the ends. Let this protrude about 60 cm below the cross point.
3. Now take the middle of the loop together with the cross point and fix it again with wire.
4. Now first pass one of the two ends of the tape under your two loops, so that a new loop is created.
5. Repeat this with the second end of the tape and fix the loops with binding wire as well.
6. Check the shape and evenness of the loops and straighten them if necessary.
