Sky is fun for the whole family
In order to be able to receive the program from Sky, you have to activate your smart card. This was sent to you by Sky in the mail.
- The activation usually works without problems and within a few minutes you can receive the channels of the pay TV provider. If the activation does not work, repeat the process. After that, everything should work perfectly and you can enjoy the variety of programs.
- If the problem persists, you can contact Sky customer service. This is available to you on 0180 51 100 00. A call from the German landline network costs 0.14 euros per minute.
So that your request can be processed as quickly as possible, you must have your customer number ready.
Activation does not work - try again

If your Sky receiver stops working, you have several options, ...
- For activation, switch on the television and insert the smart card into the card reader of your receiver.
- Switch on the receiver and set it to a Sky channel that is included in your subscription.
- You may have to log in with your customer data and then click on "Activate".
- It is important that you do not change the program slot. Leave the receiver on the program until it has been activated.
If the activation still does not work, call Sky customer service. This is the only way to rule out a defect in the smart card or the card reader on the receiver.
