Set up and use heating cannons professionally
Few of them are familiar with heating cannons, although they are used quite frequently. In the commercial sector in particular, these heaters are widely used and are used in a wide variety of industries.
Put heating cannons into operation safely
- If you want to use one or more heating cannons, you have the choice between gas and fuel oil-powered hot air heaters. Depending on the area of application, you have to decide on the model which is best suited for this and which best suits the tasks to be performed. Take note of the general fire prevention regulations that are part of the delivery scope of most devices.
- The fuel itself could also be a criterion for your decision. If you don't want a tank with approx. 40 liters of heating oil is located in the immediate vicinity of a hot air stream, you will probably want to opt for the method that at first seems safer, the gas bottle. Heating cannons, regardless of which fuel they are operated with, are generally just as safe if the operating instructions and the basic requirements are observed.
- A heating cannon is not actually designed for heating living rooms, although series with a chimney connection are also available. They are used in the private sector e.g. B. To dry out a damp cellar wall, however, you should definitely choose a model that allows you to divert any exhaust gases to the outside.
- Do not change anything in the structure of the bracket of a heating cannon. You should leave them on the corresponding frame as specified by the manufacturer during assembly. Any modification here carries a risk, which can turn these non-hazardous heating devices into a hazard if handled properly.
Areas of application of a warm air heater with high heat capacity
- Heating cannons are by far not only used in the construction industry for drying new buildings, although a large area of application for these heat generators can be found here. Agriculture uses heating cannons to heat cattle sheds and to keep harvested crops dry.
- Whether beer or circus tents, large tents would have to do without cozy warmth without the use of heating cannons. Heating cannons can be used wherever it is important to heat a large volume as quickly as possible.
