A violent shock, which is often acknowledged by glowing heating wires with an immediate "OFF", does not affect a ceramic element. You will surely appreciate this plus for ceramics.
- The only real downside to the ceramic fan heater is its high price. But this has dropped significantly recently. There are already some devices for less than 30 €. Normal oscillating fan heaters with thermostats are hardly below this price. Note that the very cheap fan heaters are usually quite noisy.
- Total nonsense is 12V ceramic fan heaters for the car. These create a barely perceptible, mild breeze that hardly warms and quickly drain the car's battery.
