Firefox no longer shows thumbnails

When Firefox withholds images

• Firefox may suddenly stop showing thumbnails, this is very confusing, especially when some pictures can still be seen and not all thumbnails are gone.
• You can try reloading the page; if no settings have been changed, the preview images should be displayed again as usual.

If it still doesn't work, you will need to check your settings.

Thumbnails are no longer displayed

• As a Firefox user, you can decide for yourself which thumbnails are shown and which are not. This feature is very useful when you want to block certain advertisements. To block certain thumbnails, right-click the image. Now you will see the function "Block graphics from address", click on it if you do not want to be shown the preview images in the future.
• To make images visible again, click on the placeholder for the preview image, even if you cannot see the image. Right-click the image again and deactivate the function.

Google no longer shows all images - that could be the problem

If you have the problem that Google does not have any thumbnails or not all of them in ...

• Now all thumbnails should be displayed again. However, if you still cannot see any preview images, it may be that you have selected the Firefox security function. This function blocks all images and thus also prevents harmful images.
• See if you accidentally activated this feature. To do this, go to "Settings" and click on "Tools" in the "Menu".
• Make sure that the "Only from original website" feature is not enabled. Then you should be able to see all preview images again at the latest.
