How do I edit the background with Photoscape? - That's how it's done
Do you have pictures of yourself that you find beautiful, but where you would like to ...
In one picture the teeth are white
- Select the menu item "image editing".
- In the left area of the window you will find a list of your files. Select the image here that you would like to edit with Photoscape.
- Take a close look at the picture: Are only the teeth not white enough or is there a color cast in the whole picture?
- If you only need to whiten your teeth, select the "Tools" menu item in the lower window area. Here you will find the "Effect Brush".
- In the context menu of the Effect Brush you will find the item "Lighten". You now have to click on it.
- Now go with the mouse to the picture. You will see a circle that corresponds to the tool tip. You can also use the buttons in the lower menu to change the size of the tool tip.
- With the left mouse button pressed, you can now go over the areas on the picture that have turned out to be too dark.
- To whiten the teeth even further, click again.
- Make sure that the mouth area is not lightened too much, otherwise the processing will be visible.
Alternative approach in Photoscape
If the whole image has a color cast, you can do the following:
- On the "Start page" tab you will find the menu item "Brightness, Color".
- The "White Balance" tool is located in this context menu.
- If you choose this tool, your picture will automatically be shown in better colors. The white areas are then actually white. This only works if there was actually a color error.
