Use suitable wood and the correct twin rubber

1. A twill consists of a small fork of a branch and the rubber attached to it. The important thing is that you have one wood is used, which is firm and easily yields when bent. In addition, it should be young and fresh wood, because an old and dried-out branch would break immediately.
2. Wood from beech, hazelnut, oak or from a willow tree is best. Make sure that the branch forks. Only then can you fix the rubber in it.
3. The twin rubber is a very important part of the twin. He should throw the projectile out of the twin at the highest possible speed and must not tear. On the other hand, it has to be strong enough to give the projectile the necessary speed.

4. Use an old bicycle inner tube as the twin rubber, from which you cut out the appropriate piece. A preserving rubber is also suitable. Underwear elastics, on the other hand, are not so suitable as twin elastics because they are too slack. However, there are also rubbers made of silicone. These can be used very well on the Zwille.
