• Buy your pumpkin on time. If you don't want to eat the flesh in the middle as dessert, but rather as jam or You can use the pumpkin to process something similar as early as 4-6 months before Halloween collect.
• Now let it dry slowly. It is important that it happens evenly and not by irradiating it with heat from one side. Direct sunlight is not very suitable for this. A dry and evenly cool room is better.
• If you scrape out the pumpkin, you will inevitably have to leave the pulp in the pumpkin skin to prevent it from collapsing. The flesh, however, is the real problem: the moisture ensures the rapid growth of mold.
• With a simple, clear spray of paint, you can delay the mold process. To do this, spray the inside of the pumpkin regularly, as the paint doesn't last forever due to the moisture.
