Would you like to create a particularly expressive wall with a touch of romance in one of your living rooms? This definitely works if you paint white pollen on a lightly or darkly tinted wall, e.g. B. Dandelion pollen works very well as a mural. How to create a mural with white pollen:

If you paint a tinted wall with white paint, you can be sure from the outset that the result will look very three-dimensional. White pollen works well for adding a slightly dreamy look to the wall that becomes more graceful when you add very thin lines to the wall.

Paint white pollen yourself

  • If you want to design a wall that is completely individual, it is best to do it yourself. A hand-painted pattern always has a certain irregularity, so you can be sure that no one can exactly copy this mural for you.
  • To apply dandelion pollen to a tinted surface, you first need a template that shows you exactly how finely branched this white pollen is.
  • Regarding the Wall design you would now have to decide: You can paint one or more huge dandelion plants with pollen on the wall, this results in a really impressive, large mural.
  • Or you limit yourself to lots of little white pollen that is painted on the wall at (not too) regular intervals. In this way, you get a delicate pattern on the wall that goes very well with a playfully furnished room.
  • How can you beautify wallpaper? - This is how murals succeed on woodchip wallpaper

Bare walls are often boring and the apartment lacks that certain oomph. With yourself ...

White pollen stamp

  • If painting with a thin brush is too much of a hassle, you can also use a stamp to create the mural.
  • Of course, we are only talking about the small white pollen as a wall pattern, you will neither be able to buy nor produce a huge stamp with a dandelion.
  • On the other hand, you can buy small stamps with dandelion pollen, they come in different forms. Usually these are pistils with whole dandelions, but you can use the lower part of the pistil simply remove with a sharp knife when you only have the white pollen on the wall want.
  • But the same applies here: If you want to create a very individual mural, you make your own stamp with the white pollen. You can easily do it yourself, for example. B. a pistil in which the pollen is directed upwards in rays. You simply cut out a flower head with such rays from a sponge, the rays remain connected below. Then sew that part of the sponge onto a piece of wood of the appropriate size by always threading the needle through the bottom of the sponge and then around the wood to lead.
  • You can also make your own stamp by taking a piece of thick felt and placing the Shape the dandelion pollen with thick embroidery thread in an embroidery stitch that creates three-dimensional lines, embroider.
  • On the other side you have to attach some kind of handle, this can be done e.g. For example, by embroidering on a few sheets of thick thread, which are then crocheted into a narrow pitch that you can touch.
  • If you dip such a stamp too deeply into the paint, the paint from the felt between the embroidered lines may also be transferred to the wall. However, this does not have to be a mistake, you can also consciously use this effect for design.

With the embroidery method you can of course make many other shapes than stamps and bring them to the wall. Perhaps you also use different bright colors, so a wall quickly turns into a colorful sea of flowers!
