  • If the pollution is greater or if you cannot reach the gutter from the roof, you will have to work with a ladder from the ground. But ask yourself beforehand: Do you really want to do this yourself? You usually need a very high ladder and a stable place. The work is difficult and dangerous due to the overhang of the roof.
  • Attach the rope to the bucket and take it up the ladder with the garden shed. Your helper should stand at the foot of the ladder and secure the ladder.
  • Avoid just throwing the dirt down the gutter. Shovel it into the bucket and then let it down on the rope to your helper, who can dispose of the contents immediately. Simply repeat the process along the gutter until it is clean and the water runs off again.
