If Skype doesn't start anymore

If you still have the same problem with Skype, there is another option to manually clear the Skype history. To do this, however, you need to uninstall Skype and, in order to make the computer faster and a bit more secure, you should load TuneUP and the CCleaner.

  1. Quit Skype.
  2. When Skype has finished, click Start.
  3. Then choose Run.
  4. Enter the following combination:% appdata%
  5. Confirm the process with OK.
  6. Find and delete the Skype folder. SkypPM must also be deleted.
  7. When everything has been done, the best thing to do is to download TuneUp Utilities 2011 - a free trial version can be found in Internet.
  8. Install, then run through the registry and then restart the computer.
  9. Then, if not already there, load the CCleaner and run it through the regestrie as well.
  10. Restart the computer and reinstall Skype.
  11. Restart Skype and enter login details again.
