If the pension insurance pays the costs for the cure and you then only receive transitional allowance, you do not need to pay the daily additional payment of 10 euros, as this Co-payment has already been withheld by the pension provider.

In addition, you do not have to make any co-payments if you receive ongoing support for your living. This means that social welfare recipients with basic security or Hartz IV recipients also do not have to pay a cent. Furthermore, you do not have to pay additional if you are not yet 18 years old.

If you are single and have a net income of up to 967 euros, you do not have to pay anything extra. You only pay the full 10 euros if you earn more than 1200 euros net per month. If you are married and one of your spouses receives Hartz IV, you do not have to make any additional payments for the cure.
